- Verification
of Citizenship under the Older Americans Act
- The
Care Recipient Screen - users are now required to key the Sex (Gender).
For more information
A Suffix field has been added to both the Client
and Care Recipient Screens for users to select any Suffix as displayed
in a drop down box. If no suffix is used, users do not have to make
a suffix selection. An edit check has been added to the First and Last
name fields where only alpha characters will be allowed in ARMS. No
spaces are allowed either.
- Client/Care
Recipient Screens Changed - Users are no longer allowed to
key non-alpha characters in first and last name fields. This include
spaces, commas, periods or numbers. A
suffix field has also been added.

New Printing features
The printing
features in ARMS have changed
- Guidelines
for entering additional client information on active client records
transferred from the old ARMS system: Providers
should continue to update active client records that migrated from the
Old ARMS by adding new information required on the new Client Registration
Form (DAAS-101) as soon as possible.
- Invoice
for MIS Services (ZGA-545)
The Invoice for MIS Services (ZGA-545) do not include Legal (130) and
Information and assistance (040) on the report.
- For SIS users, the ZGA-542
Unit of Services Verification Report may be showing In-Home
Respite codes that were imported from SIS where the provider has no
budget for this service code. The service records cannot
be found in ARMS, but shows up on the report. The programmer is working
on this problem. The Unit of Service Verification Report
(ZGA-542) is current data and not based on Reimbursement Reports that
is monthly. The total persons served on this report has been fixed.
- Turnaround
documents have been revised. Users need to write the report month on
the form until further notice.
- Attention
All ARMS Users
Hitting the Back Button is causing a lot of Server
Errors. Please avoid using the Back Button while in ARMS.
If you want to go back, simply use the navigation menu above or the
buttons provided on the screens. Again, do not use the Back Button
in your Browser, use the ARMS menus, links, and/or navigation to return
to a previous screen.
Unexpected results may occur including data lost.
