CAAR Committee
Communication and Automated Resources
Why is the CAAR committee needed
A lot of users had questions
and/or did not understand the what's and why's of the change from
a mainframe system to a PC based system. Division of Aging and Adult
Services decided that a committee which included staff from all of
our different "roles" in the aging network would be formed and utilized
for input and output regarding all types of communication/automation
development and enhancement.
The purpose of the Communication and Automated
Resources(CAAR) Committee is:
- Review ongoing data and communications systems
being shared through common usage by the statewide network of organizations
responsible for delivering and managing aging services to the state's
older adult population.
- Make recommendations to the Division of Aging
and Adult Services and Division of Information Resources Management
which will enhance and serve the needs of the statewide organization
in reporting, tracking and documenting efforts made in serving the
older adult population.
