Dear County Director of Social Services:

Subject: Fiscal Reporting Procedures for State In-Home 17 & Under

Effective with July services reimbursed August, 1998, the following codes will be valid for claiming reimbursement through the DSS-1571 for State In-Home clients who are 17 years of age and under. You should have received SIS information indicating the applicable service and program codes to be used on daysheets (SIS Update 4-98).

Part IA (Salary & Fringe Benefits):

Function Code 15, Column 15 (State In-Home 17 & Under) 87.50% Federal, 12.50% County.

Part II (Administrative Expenditures):

Code 349 is the appropriate code for cost pooling. The Part II code for approved direct charges (if applicable) is 190, Fund 1. The description is "St In-Hm 17 & Under."

Part IV (Purchased Services):

Reimbursable purchased services may be reported with Fund ID "P."
