Upon the recommendation of the State Health Coordinating Council (SHCC) on May 28, 2008, a new Quality, Access and Value (QAV) Work Group was appointed to continue the work begun by the original QAV Work Group, which met four times during the spring of 2008.
Dr. Dan Myers, SHCC Chairman, has appointed 15 members to this new work group and he has asked Dr. Dana Copeland to serve as chairman of the work group.
The work group will meet on August 28, 2008 at the McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman Street in Raleigh. Directions to the McKimmon Center are available.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 P.M. and is expected to last approximately two hours.
Any documents produced for the meeting will be posted on the DHSR Web site.
Please note that subsequent meetings of the QAV Work Group are not anticipated, however, notice of any subsequent meetings, if scheduled, will be posted on the DHSR Web site.
