Physicians enrolled with the N.C. Medicaid program are eligible to enroll as Community Care of North Carolina/Carolina ACCESS primary care providers. Carolina ACCESS requires providers to complete and submit a signed application and agreement indicating their compliance with all participation requirements. Providers will be contacted if there are questions regarding information provided in the application. Providers are notified of their approval or denial in writing. Approved providers are assigned a provider number and can begin submitting claims to Medicaid upon receipt of their Medicaid provider number.
