At the August 2010 meeting of the NC Council for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing, Jan Withers, Director of the Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (DSDHH), announced the completion of the Division’s Five-Year Plan.
Along with the announcement, Director Withers released an open letter summarizing the achievements as a result of the implementation of the Five-Year Plan. Also released are two documents: 1) DSDHH’s Five-Year Plan with Outcomes and 2) a list of major accomplishments not included in the Five-Year Plan.
DSDHH is now developing its Three-Year Strategic Plan in conjunction with the DHHS Excels initiative. The new plan will be posted on the DSDHH website when it is completed.
