Performance Reporting and Evaluation
The Performance Reporting & Evaluation Unit within the Performance Management Section is responsible for overseeing the Division’s program evaluation activities, including monitoring contracted services with various University partners, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Federal partners, the North Carolina General Assembly, and other stakeholders. The Reporting & Evaluation Unit also works closely with county departments of social services to assist them in tracking critical outcomes, and implementing performance-based management systems to continuously improve service delivery.
This unit is also responsible for the following two systems:
- Multiple Response System (MRS) database, which is designed for direct data entry by the social workers providing services to children and families; and the
- TANF Data Collection (TDC) System, which collects data required by the final TANF regulations for the TANF Data Report that is not collected in the Eligibility Information System (EIS) or the Employment Programs Information System (EPIS) during the regular course of business.
