The USA Drug Plan Homepage can help you compare costs of prescription medications of the pharmacies in your area. To obtain the listed price, you must print out the “drug card” from the internet site. THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE CARD, but can help you if you do not have insurance.
This program is available for ALL North Carolina residents. If you quality, you may be able to obtain medications for free. Visit NC MedAssist. You may also qualify for free medications at various clinics and pharmacies around NC. Below is information about these sites arranged by County served. You can click on an individual county or expand the entire list. There are also several clinics and pharmacies which help you enroll into NC MedAssist if you qualify. You may also apply directly to NC MedAssist by calling their toll free number 866-331-1348.
