Adoption Profile

Introducing Chris, born April 6, 1987

His Junior Reserve Office Training Corps (ROTC) teacher says that Chris is a joy to be around. He tries really hard to accomplish his goals. He is the first to volunteer when an extra assignment is offered. Chris is good at drawing, photo: Chriswoodworking and anything he can do with his hands. He hopes to be a computer engineer and is fully capable of doing so. He gets along very well with adults and enjoys their attention. Chris says he doesn’t remember going on a real vacation and would love to go to the mountains and to the beach someday.

Chris attends specialized classes at school where he is improving his social skills. He is fully capable of completing the work in mainstream classes. He is maturing and has shown tremendous improvement in managing his feelings this year. Chris needs to work on taking responsibility for his actions and accepting the consequences gracefully. He is working on goals to improve his conduct and relationships with kids his own age.

A Family for Chris...

Chris wants a mom and dad that will spend time with him. He thrives on attention and needs a family that is willing to provide continual guidance toward his adult years. Chris very much wants to be adopted and hopes he will have a permanent, loving home, even as an adult. (NC #051-1838)
