N.C. Medicaid Reform Advisory Group to Hold Third Public Forum

Raleigh, N.C. - A public meeting on Medicaid reform will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, by the N.C. Medicaid Reform Advisory Group and the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). At this meeting, DHHS will present a framework for N.C. Medicaid reform.

The advisory group was instructed by the General Assembly to obtain broad stakeholder input in a public forum, and ensure transparency in the proposal development process. The information presented will be used by the Department of Health and Human Services as it develops a proposal to reform North Carolina's Medicaid system. DHHS will present its proposal to the General Assembly March 17, 2014.
