About the Business Continuity Office

The DHHS Business Continuity (BCP) Office helps all divisions and offices within DHHS to develop and review continuity plans, policies, procedures and related contracts. The intent is to ensure a minimum level of operations during and after a disaster or disruptive event. To aid in the evaluation and contingency planning for the impact of events that may adversely affect citizens information and services, department systems, assets or employees the DHHS Business Continuity Office provides: 

  • Business Impact Analysis
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery planning and review
  • Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and review
  • BCP and COOP Testing coordination and assistance
  • Employee BCP and COOP training and awareness
