DHHS leadership served pizza to employees at an Employee Appreciation event on the Dorothea Dix campus in Raleigh.
June 1, 2018 – DHHS celebrated joy at work during events at DHHS offices and facilities statewide throughout May to show appreciation to employees for their hard work.
On May 17, Secretary Mandy Cohen held an all-staff meeting featuring pizza, cake and a trivia game highlighting the achievements of various divisions throughout the agency. (Watch her speech and the game.)
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do,” Secretary Cohen said.
During the week of May 7-11, employees participated in a spirit week, where they could forgo their normal work attire for crazy hats, crazy socks, team gear, throwback outfits and casual clothing. (See the slideshow of photos from participants across DHHS.)
Winners were selected among photos submitted from DHHS offices across the state.
