NC Interagency Coordinating Council Child and Family Well-Being Eastern Band of Cherokee - Official Government Website (ebci.com) Advises and assists the lead agency, the Division of Child and Family Well-Being in the role as lead agency for services for children, from birth to aged three, with special needs and their families. The Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) brings policymakers, service providers, and parents together. It serves young children with disabilities and developmental delays, and their families. NC Home Visiting Consortium Child and Family Well-Being Not Available The NC Home Visiting Consortium is a network of perinatal and early childhood home visitation programs and maternal and child health organizations. Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Advisory Committee Child and Family Well-Being Not Available The purpose of the EHDI Advisory Committee is to guide the development, coordination, and quality evaluation of community-based EHDI Programs. NC System of Care (NC SOC) Child and Family Well-Being Behavioral Health NC System of Care - NC Collaborative NC SOC provides technical assistance to NC’s network of 92 SOC Community Collaboratives. A system of care is a comprehensive network of community-based services and supports organized to address/discuss the needs of families who are involved with multiple child service agencies, such as child welfare, mental health, schools, juvenile justice and health care. Interagency collaboration brings together child and family-serving agencies from the public, private, and faith-based sectors. Child Care Health Consultants Child and Family Well-Being Child Care Health Consultants | NCDHHS Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) are trained health professionals with education and experience in both child and community health, early care, and education. CCHCs work with child care programs to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate strategies to achieve high-quality, safe and healthy environments. The Child Care Health Consultation program: (1) Provides leadership in policy development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health efforts in early care and learning settings. (2) Collaborates with the NC Child Care Health and Safety Resource Center to provide: health and safety resources, training, and technical assistance for early educators; training, professional development opportunities, programmatic and coaching support for Child Care Health Consultants. Farmworker Health Program/Co-Governance Board Health Equity, Policy NC Farmworker Health Program - Working to improve the health of migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families (ncdhhs.gov) The Farmworker Health Program/Co-Governance Board provides oversight, guidance, and support for the North Carolina Farmworker Health Program (NCFHP), a statewide Migrant Health Voucher Program within the North Carolina Office of Rural Health. As opposed to a free-standing health center, NCFHP works with local agencies to provide care throughout the state with a focus on geographical areas with high densities of farmworkers.  NCFHP responds to gaps in health care that would otherwise prevent farmworkers from accessing needed care. North Carolina Community Health Clinic Association (NCCHCA) Access to Care North Carolina Community Health Center Association NCCHCA is the HRSA funded state Primary Care Association (PCA) and Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN). FQHCs receive federal assistance for sliding-fee discounts to assure no one is denied access to care. NCCHCA represents FQHCs to state and federal officials and provides training and technical assistance on clinical, operational, financial, administrative, and governance issues. All FQHCs and FQHC Look-Alikes in North Carolina are members of the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA). It's purpose is to improve linkages, networking and partnerships with other faith-based entities to promote health equity, solution seeking strategies and improve access to services and resources across diverse communities. This network seeks to enhance population health, health education, support comprehensive health approaches that respect cultural and religious practices, and advocate for policies and actions that reduce health disparities.
