MEDIA ADVISORY — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services will host a Spanish-language webinar on Thursday, June 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., to discuss the new NCDHHS Community and Partner Engagement Initiative with North Carolina community advocates, partners, leaders and other members of the Hispanic and Latinx community. The public, media and interested organizations are invited to participate in the discussion.
NCDHHS launched the Community and Partner Engagement Initiative earlier this year, guided by a directive from NC Health and Human Services Secretary Kody H. Kinsley, to address ongoing health disparities and needs for all North Carolinians. NCDHHS continues to deepen its collaboration with Hispanic and Latinx communities through building inclusive and intentional spaces to share insights and engage in partnerships. The diverse voices of North Carolinians help inform and advance NCDHHS’ work and policies.

RALEIGH — El Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos de Carolina del Norte (NCDHHS, por sus siglas en inglés), organizará un seminario en línea en español el jueves 6 de junio, de 6 a 7:30 p.m., para compartir la nueva Iniciativa de Participación de la Comunidad y de los Colaboradores Comunitarios del NCDHHS con defensores comunitarios, colaboradores comuniatrios, líderes y otros miembros de la comunidad hispana y latina de Carolina del Norte. El público, los medios de comunicación y las organizaciones interesadas están invitados a participar en esta conversación.
NCDHHS lanzó la Iniciativa de Participación de la Comunidad y de los Colaboradores Comunitarios a principios de este año, guiada por una orden del secretario de Salud y Servicios Humanos de Carolina del Norte, Kody H. Kinsley. Kinsley, para abordar las disparidades y necesidades de salud de todos los habitantes de Carolina del Norte. El NCDHHS continúa profundizando su colaboración con las comunidades hispanas y latinas a través de la creación de espacios inclusivos e intencionales para compartir ideas y participar en asociaciones.
