North Carolina Fetal Alcohol Prevention Program
The Proof Alliance NC is the North Carolina Fetal Alcohol Prevention Program strives to prevent alcohol exposed pregnancies by providing training, education, and resources to professionals who serve individuals of reproductive age, deliver prevention messaging and resources to individuals who can become pregnant, as well as resources for professionals who provide supports to families and individuals impacted by FASD. Proof Alliance NC is a state-wide program housed at the Arc of North Carolina.

MotherToBaby North Carolina
MotherToBaby North Carolina provides evidence-based information about exposure during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This free, confidential service is available to the general public as well as health care providers. MotherToBaby is a service of the non-profit Organization of Teratogen Information Specialists.
MotherToBaby Fact Sheets cover a wide range of topics including medications (prescription and over-the-counter), drugs, alcohol, personal care products, chemical exposures and more. Free to download and print in English and Spanish.

NC Infant-Toddler Program
The North Carolina Early Intervention Branch (NCEI) is a part of the NC Division of Public Health. It is the lead agency for the NC Infant-Toddler Program (ITP). The ITP provides support and services for families and their children, ages birth to three, who have special needs. Research shows that this time period is critical. It offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns. Sixteen Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) across North Carolina work with local service providers to help families help their children succeed.
Infants who receive a Plan of Safe Care will be assessed by Care Management for At-Risk Children (CMARC) for potential eligibility and referral to the Infant-Toddler Program.

The NC Pregnancy and Opioid Exposure Project is an umbrella under which information, resources and technical assistance are disseminated regarding the subject of pregnancy and opioid exposure. The site includes information for the public and professionals.
Opioid and Prescription Drug Abuse Advisory Committee
The Opioid and Prescription Drug Abuse Advisory Committee (OPDAAC) is a multi-disciplinary group established by the NC General Assembly and led by the NC Division of Public Health (DPH) and the NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMH/DD/SAS). OPDAAC builds on the NC Strategic Plan to Reduce Prescription Drug Abuse. OPDAAC workgroups developed a four-part action plan (addressing Prevention, Treatment, Professional Training and Data). The primary purpose of the website below is to provide useful clinical resources for prescribers, dispensers, and other healthcare providers. It will also serve as a portal for individuals and communities seeking help.
