Inclusion Connects Reports
This report, available for review, is based on data gathered before the implementation of North Carolina's new Tailored Plans, effective July 1st, 2024. This transition marks a significant shift in managing whole-person health including I/DD, physical health, and pharmaceutical services. As this transition represents a change in how services are delivered and data is reported, comparisons with future reports should be made with caution.
NC DHHS continues to focus on the accuracy and validity of the data to refine reporting techniques. It's important to note that reports compiled for this document rely on inputs from LME/MCOs, and some data types were not collected before the Tailored Plan launch. Additionally, NC DHHS withholds data totals less than 11 to protect individual privacy.
NC DHHS will release the Inclusion Connects Workplan and the first comprehensive report on January 15th, 2025. These will provide additional details about the data and initiatives taken to support the needs of individuals with I/DD in North Carolina.
