What is Inclusion Connects?
Inclusion Connects is an initiative launched by NCDHHS to enhance access to resources and services for individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and their caregivers. It also focuses on improving access to the full array of housing options and strengthening the Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce. Everyone deserves the opportunity to receive care and support within their communities.
The initiative aims to simplify access for individuals with I/DD and their families by providing a centralized platform for finding necessary resources, streamlining transition processes, and empowering the DSP workforce through better training, competitive compensation and recognition. Inclusion Connects is committed to building a more inclusive and supportive North Carolina, where community strength is derived from the inclusion of all individuals.
